Solicitors Almost Without Exception Must Be Registered With The Information Commissioner. If you do one thing today, ensure your registration with the information commissioner is up to date. This relates to your responsibilities under the Data Protection Act and Freedom of Information Act. Two law firms recently have been fined over £6,000 for not having up to date registrations.
