Here are some legal marketing quick fixes:- some tools that you can use to instantly win new clients or improve your marketing efforts with very little effort on your part and not a great deal of expense either (which always helps).
1. Instant Promotional Materials That Cross Sell Your Services For You
If you walk into a bank you will be offered a plethora of choices of brochure or sales tools. From A4 brochures through leaflets to mini guides. Of course it is easy for them, they have vast marketing budgets. But for solicitors it has not always been that easy, until now that is.
If you would like an instant set of promotional materials for your practice, in your own practice colours and with your logo and contact details, Law Kits are just what you are looking for. A selection of guides exists to ensure your clients are totally aware of all of the legal services you can offer them. Separate guides exist for Moving Home, Personal Injury, Employment Law, Medical Negligence, Family Law and Wills and Probate.
"Since receiving my Law Kits I have noticed that clients always pick them up when waiting in reception and because of their handy size they put them in their pockets or wallets too" - Seth Lovis of Seth Lovis & Co.

2. New Clients From The Internet - Now It Is Possible, Even Without Your Own Website
We always like to see our clients doing well, and one of our clients is doing incredibly well by helping solicitors across the UK to win clients using the internet. But don't just take our word for it; this is what the DCA had to say about Shop4Law.
"One example of how embracing new technologies and marketing ideas can benefit legal service providers and consumers alike is the model used by such firms as Shop4Law. Shop4Law use an internet-based programme through which consumers identify their personal needs and are matched with individual service providers. For solicitors, Shop4Law are an innovative way to promote themselves and develop their business in a cost effective way. For consumers, the website provides a convenient way of finding a solicitor who is most closely aligned to their preferences (be they location, experience, cost or speed of service)."

3. Money Laundering - Automatic Checks From Your PC
Anti Money Laundering checks have historically involved Solicitors having to see two forms of identification from a client. Not only is this time consuming, particularly in the case of volume work such as re-mortgages, but it can be open to abuse. Call Credit PLC, one of the country's leading credit reference agencies, have launched a service known as CallML which uses data from their credit reference business to validate a client's identity. This check can be carried out online and in seconds can validate a client's address and identity.
What is even more useful to know is that if you use SolCase, this process can be automated saving you huge volumes of time. Call Credit have partnered with Zylpha Solutions Ltd to produce a tight integration into the CallML service from SolCase, the UK's leading legal Case Management product. Here, data that is already entered into SolCase is sent to CallML using a "web service". The results are returned in seconds and the full search result attached to your electronic file for auditing purposes. A movie clip of the integration can be seen at http://www.zylpha.com.
