I have been in and around the legal profession since 1991. I was a solicitor working in private practice from 1991 until 2003 when I set up Samson Consulting. I knew there was a large gap in the market for someone who really understood what it was like to run a legal practice and a case load, whilst at the same time being able to successfully market the legal services on offer. It was the marketing of legal services that I always enjoyed far more than the delivery of the legal service; that is not to say that I was not good at that aspect of the job (I put many profits in to the partnerships I worked with), but I knew my real flair was in sales and marketing.
