Just a few months ago, our phone wasn’t ringing anywhere near enough.

We were using a marketing agency to handle our website and pay-per-click, and the truth is that we weren’t getting enough business through the door.

That’s despite the vital nature of the work we do, and the outstanding feedback we get from the people we work with.

We knew something wasn’t right. We knew there was demand for what we do, but it just wasn’t translating into prospects and clients.

When I drilled down into some figures, and started looking at how well our website and paid traffic were performing, it was clear that there were a lot of areas that needed improving.

I’ve always understood the power of Google, and I figured that getting it right was the key to cracking the code.

I started searching around, looking for someone who truly knew what they were doing when it came to Google Ads, as well as being able to understand the intricacies of the service we offer.

Easier said than done.

I’ve spoken to a lot of Google Ads practitioners over the years, and what I’ve learnt is that it’s very easy to bamboozle people with jargon, metrics and figures to explain poor results, and the reality is that this is what many pay-per-click agencies do.

And that’s exactly what many of the agencies I looked at were doing.

In the end though, I came across Nick’s book, the Law Firm Growth Formula, and that was the gamechanger.

I read the chapter on pay-per-click, and I knew instantly that Nick was the right man for the job.

He clearly understood exactly how paid search works in the legal world AND how to get the best possible results from it.

I quickly got in touch with him, and we arranged to talk.

If I’m honest, he wasn’t the easiest person in the world to click with initially, and that actually caused a delay in us working together, which is absolutely to our detriment.

In the end though, we got started, and it’s fair to say that the impact has been instantaneous.

If I had to sum up working with Nick, I’d say that he underpromises and overdelivers, and that’s incredibly rare in the marketing world.

He didn’t give us the usual rubbish about it taking time to work, or any of the other usual tosh people give you.

Because Nick knows – and is honest about this fact – unless you’re above the fold on Google, you’re nowhere.

The great news is that he knows exactly how to achieve that.

He uses a systematic approach, where he looks at every single element of your marketing strategy, and makes diagnoses, working out where things can be improved, and what needs to happen to make that happen.

The result of working with Nick is that there are some days now where we plead with him to stop being so good, because we’re at capacity, every single day.

Since we started with Nick just a couple of months ago, we’re already 400-500% busier than we were before and the simple fact of the matter is that he is a class act, who really does know exactly how to rapidly grow a law firm.

If you’re thinking about working with Nick, my advice is to do it, and persevere with it and remember: he’s right, you’re wrong!”

As the owner of a small to medium-sized law firm, I have found that Samson Consulting’s Marketing4Solicitors monthly newsletter has proved absolutely invaluable throughout the last three years or so. Of all the marketing advice I’ve had over the years, this has proved by far the best value – bringing us tens of thousand of pounds of extra work every year.

One of the best tricks Nick Jervis [who owns Samson Consulting] uses, is not only to identify the kind of marketing actions a small or medium-sized business can take themselves, but he also explains why it works and most importantly then takes you through, step-by-step exactly what you need to do. As someone who is passionate about growing my business, I really look forward to receiving Nick’s excellent newsletter every month.

It’s worth pointing out that initially I was sceptical about his promises – so many marketing businesses promise the earth. But within a couple of months I was absolutely convinced he was right and I have been hooked ever since.

I recommend Nick Jervis and Samson Consulting without any hesitation whatsoever.

Nick takes a no-nonsense approach, cuts the fluff and gets straight to the point – which is an approach that you see very little nowadays in the world of marketing where you have many gurus with complex approach that most probably never work. I look forward to working with Nick.
