Should You Buy A .Legal Domain Name?

There seem to be more and more domain names released each year. Now we have a .legal domain name coming onto the scene, should you buy them?

In my view, the answer would be a resounding ‘no’.

.co.uk and .com are the two domains you should buy to protect your business name and to host your legal website. If you start buying .legal and .alltheothers to protect your name, you are, in my humble opinion, wasting your money.

You’re firm name is already protected.

If you are thinking of buying a .legal domain name as the only domain name for your website, I would strongly advise against it. You need a .co.uk or a .com. That is what people expect to see and is what I believe solicitors should own.
