Who am I?
I am the author of the bestselling book The Law Firm Growth Formula. How smart solicitors attract more of the right clients at the right price to grow their law firm quickly. I have been running my consultancy business for law firm owners since 2003. Before that, I worked in private practice so I have been marketing law firms since 1991 (yes, I am that old).
My approach to law firm marketing is very, very simple: it has to put more money into your bank account than it takes out, at least to the power of three. Therefore, if you spend £1,000 on any marketing activity I expect you to make at least £3,000 in return. That is my starting point. Many of my clients spend £1,000 to generate £10,000 to £20,000 in fees. I am much happier with those figures, but 3:1 is my starting point. I do not want you spending any money if you do not know what it is doing for you.
