What are talking calls to action, and why are they so important when it comes to generating more leads for your law firm from your website?
Let’s take a look:
This is why you need to cover off in your on page content that all initial enquiries (not advice) are without charge, but then, most importantly, explain to your prospect, as if you were talking to them face to face, precisely what they should do next to get in touch with you to discover more (hence talking calls to action).
Where most law firm websites go wrong is that after the introductory content, where hopefully they show empathy for their prospect’s current predicament, then move nicely on to cover off their expertise in that precise area of law, is that they then do one of two things:
- Nothing; or
- Whack a giant CONTACT button in the middle of the page.
Your prospects are human beings and you need to keep talking to them as such.
So when you have done the good job of showing empathy, then proving expertise, then in the same tone invite them to get in touch with you by using a talking call to action (in bold and italics for your benefit only – you should just have it in the same style as all other content on the page – no one wants to be shouted at):

That is a talking call to action, and if you add it to every page of your website, quite simply, you will receive more enquiries for your services.
